Good vs. Bad

The last week I have been thinking a lot about the BIG MOVE to Nebraska.  Yes, for YEARS I have been complaining about how much I hate living in Arizona. Well, believe it or not, there are some things I will miss about Arizona.  Let the list begin!

Let's start out with the bad. Just like a band-aid, rip it right off!!

Bad:

• The heat. I can't STAND going outside and having to run to my car because I feel like I am about to become bacon.
• Everything....is....dry.  I can't keep enough lotion on, and nothing is ever moist.
• Dust Storms. *shivers* They are just...icky. Amazing to see them roll in, but that's about it.
• Sickness.  Most of you know, I am known to have a sinus infection every few seconds. That is because everything is so dry here!  The doctor and I are becoming close friends, I swear.
• Summer.  Unless you would like to become a piece of bacon, there is nothing to do during the summer. It is WAYY too hot outside to do anything, and everything indoors to do is getting pricey!

On to the good. There is always a plus to something negative.

• Sunsets. I LOVE LOVE LOVE sunsets! And, Arizona has THE best sunsets...ever! They are bright orange, pink, and yellow! Just stunning!!!
• Family and friends. My parents are here....CJ's family is here. We will miss them, but they understand it is time to move on. And our friends feel the same way.
• Flagstaff. The most beautiful town we have ever lived in.  The perfect mountain town where we feel at home, unique places to visit, and rich history. 
• The Superstition Mountains. *sigh* Whenever I look at the mountain, I feel at home.  I have had LONG debates with my sista Charlie about what the mountain looks like. I think it looks like a sleeping man....she sees a dragon.  The debate will...NEVER END! hehe!

The lists are about even, but we just feel it is our time to try something new.  A new experience never hurt anyone....right?!
