Yup. I have been slacking in the blogging section. But let me tell you....life has become so dang busy! I have been busy subbing a lot, which is always great. Still on the look out for a full time job for the next school year. I don't mind subbing, but I REALLY REALLY want my own classroom and the steadiness of a schedule and pay check. There have been a few stressful months where I feel like we are looking in the couch for pennies, but everything will work out as it should. Missed my mom's birthday, which was very hard, but of course I made her a homemade card to make it feel like I was there.
Started volunteering at a historic theater here in town called The Grand Theater. I wanted to volunteer 1) I grew up volunteering at different places. 2) ....I need to get out of the house a bit more. Poor CJ is going crazy with me being home a lot when there isn't work. I LOOVE volunteering there. I have met some very nice people and hope to form friendships! :) Plus, it is nice to watch a good movie every Saturday night! :)
As for the job hunting front....I keep applying. I did have an interview on the 6th of Feb, but haven't heard back. The whole, "no news is good news," is not a good sign when it comes to a job interview. Yes, I may not be the best and most perfect on paper, but just give me a chance! Oh well...just keep pushing through. We are enjoying the snow here as well. Shoveling the snow on the other hand is not so much fun, but I am def ready for summer and to see how beautiful my flowers are going to be!!!! We are going to start a garden as well! Other then that, nothing too exciting. Until next time! :)
